Prof.K. Raghavan Nair

Prof. Raghavan Nair was born in the Mulavilayil family at Sasthamcotta, Kollam district on June 18, 1946 to Sri. N. Krishnan Nair and Smt. K. Kuttiyamma. His early schooling was done at Sasthamcotta Govt. School and RHS Sasthamcotta. And joined SN College, Kollam where he did his Pre Uuniversity, B.com and M.com.

In the year 1970, he joined the teaching faculty of the prestigious Devaswom Board College, Sasthamcotta. He served the college as a Professor (32years) and HOD (5years) in the department of Commerce. He was one of the representatives from Kerala to Education Refermation at National level meet held in New Delhi, in the year 1998.

He served as Unnathavidyabhyasa Committe Kerala University President, Kshethrasamrakshana Samithi Kollam district President & State Seva Secretary, Kerala University final year B.Com Board Chairman and B.Com board faculty member.

His political service: Served as BJP National Council Member, State Executive Committee Member & District Vice President, RSS Taluk Sakh Chalak. At present he is the Janapaksham Teachers Sakh State Committee President.

Currently, he is also serving “Kshethra Samrakshana Samithi”, working for the welfare of Temples in Kerala, as its Seva Secretary.
