Dr. C.T. Eapen Memorial Residential HS – ESTD 1928
Founded on 1st June 1928, Dr. C.T. Eapen Memorial Residential HS is the first among its kind to open the gates to wisdom for Children in the Kollam District. The founder, Rev. Dr. C. T. Eapen, a philanthropist, an educational visionary and more over a missionary, made use of his own extensive land on the banks of the Sasthamcotta lake for establishing a residential school. It was a dire need for the financial and social backward area in those days as there were only few schools in the vicinity. The school has been recognized and Aided by the State Government from 1952. The Higher Secondary wing was approved and added in the year 2000.

H.H.Moran Mar Baselios Marthoma Mathews II was the Manager of the school that helped the Institution become a centre of excellence. The school, enveloped by lush greenery, provides a clean environment and congenial to peaceful learning. Focusing on the overall development of the individual, the school guarantees physical, intellectual, moral and spiritual growth to its students. The institution is now running under the management of Dr. C. T. Eapen Trust under Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. Some famous faces like Sri. C.K.
